Development of a system to personalise and automate insulin treatment

Objective

The general technical objective of this project is the development of an expert system that allows precise adjustment of insulin doses to be administered by patients based on the effect of changes in basal or slow insulin levels, according to the clinical profile and the personalised digital model of the patient.

Expected results

• Result 1: Improved bolus calculator.
• Result 2: Automated and data-driven insulin treatment improvement suggestions.
